		<description>Lowering water heater temperature not necessarily a good idea--Need 140 degree water to sanitize laundry.  Installing a second water heater just for laundry may help, but the savings might be offset by the additional standby cost.  On the other hand, 140 degree water is unsafe for general usage.  General usage water should be no higher than 130 degrees unless there are either young children or elderly in the household in which case temp. should be set at 120 degrees F.  Hospitals and nursing homes, by law, must set water temp. at 120 degrees at the tap.</description>
